The CAS system can be applied as a hoist landing tower on structures of any height, in excess of 500m. It has consistently proven to be very efficient for the construction and refurbishment of high-rise buildings in particular. This application, namely the CAS Tower, makes programmes and logistics smoother and simpler, resulting in time and cost savings. With hoisting arrangements and tie-ins simplified, fit outs and facade works are completed faster and ROI is maximised.
The CAS Tower supports all hoisting requirements, concentrating tie-ins in just one area of the main building. The optional integrated staircase provides additional egress, evacuation and logistical capabilities for trades. Up to six hoists can be deployed off its three elevations, with a range of cage sizes and load-bearings.
As high-rise structures are often situated within a confined, built up area, the smaller foot print and options for pre-assembled floor sections to be used is particularly advantageous. Floor sections can be pre-assembled off-site or on the ground on site and crane-lifted into place. If pre-assembly isn't possible, perhaps due to no cranage, the tower can even be manually assembled in situ, thanks to the light weight of its alloy components.
