Construction Access Systems specialise in the design of all manner of temporary structures for use in the course of construction. We have experience of a very wide range of temporary structures including Common Towers, Grillages, loading platforms, loading docks, bridges and lifting equipment, and many more.

CAS Design
We provide project specific temporary works design for the Common Tower System including base, grillage and loading dock platform designs. Solutions designed in 2D and 3D CAD, Revit and structural analysis software. We are also called upon to provide temporary works designs or design checks for various other items such as the following:
Hoist & Common Tower Grillages
As you can imagine, there is quite a load bearing down on the base from a Common Tower structure. We can provide detailed designs for a concrete base or a steelwork grillage depending upon the site requirements.
Jump Forms
We have provided design checking services for jump forms and provide on-site inspections and reports.
Floating Lorry Docks
Due to site constraints on the Canary Wharf Project in London, CAS were called to provide the design for a floating lorry dock on an existing barge.
Jacket & Access Platforms
CAS were asked to provide design services for a Jacket & Platform Structure for the oil industry in Scotland.
