Newfoundland Tower, Canary Wharf

THE CHALLENGE

To provide an effective access solution, which incorporates an emergency access staircase, five hoists with the smallest access opening into the building.

SOLUTION

The Common Tower supplied by Construction Access Systems Ltd comprised of an integrated staircase, 60 storeys and 210mtrs high, with a selection of high and medium speed hoists provided by Alimak Group.

RESULTS
Once again, early engagement with the client, identified the outline requirement, and overtime the scope was modified to develop an effective Common Tower access scheme.
