Centre Point Tower, London

Opened in 1966, Centre Point is one of London’s original skyscrapers, situated in the heart of the West End. The challenge of this landmark project was to provide an access solution on a constricted site, without tower crane access, in a heavily congested part of London.

We were contracted by the client to provide a CAS tower on the 35 storey Centre Point Tower in London. Twin passenger/goods hoists were supplied and positioned on one elevation of the CAS Tower.

Access into the building was challenging, however, as it is a modular system, the alloy CAS Tower components are lightweight and were able to be installed manually to overcome this obstacle.
