Hoist Access Towers Ltd (HAT) buy a CAS Common Tower for Berkeley project

Hoist Access Towers Ltd (HAT) a joint venture between Taylor's Hoist and Lyndon Scaffolding Plc has purchased a CAS Common Tower and Staircase System for the Corniche Project for Berkeley St James on the Nine Elms Development Scheme in London.

The modular design of the CAS Common Tower System was ideal to span the 24 & 27 storey towers of the Corniche building. HAT used three Alimak hoists attached to the Common Tower including a large 2mtr x 5mtr hoist car to improve the efficiencies of the site logistics.

Brookfield Multiplex are using the Construction Access Systems Ltd (CAS) Common Tower and Integrated Staircase System on the 50 storey, 170 Mtr, One Blackfriars Road Project for Berkeley St George.

An Alimak Mammoth hoist and a twin FCS high speed 100mtr min hoist ensures men & materials get to the workface in a quick and efficient manner and the Common Tower ensures the minimum opening for access into the building.

Brookfield Multiplex use CAS Common Tower system on the refurbishment of the Centre Point tower

Brookfield Multiplex are using the Construction Access Systems Ltd (CAS) Common Tower System on the 35 storey centre Point tower in London.

Opened in 1966 Centre Point is one of London’s original skyscapers. Developer Almacantar plans to create 82 residential apartments, almost 4,000m2 of retail space and a public square on the Oxford Street site.

Alimak Hek are supplying a twin combination 1.5mtr and 2.0mtr wide x 3.9mtr long passenger goods hoists, which will be positioned on one elevation of the CAS Common Tower.

CAS Sign Common Tower Deal with Brookfield Multiplex

Construction Access Systems Ltd (CAS) recently signed a contract with Brookfield Multiplex, at the Height & Heritage World Conference in London, to supply a CAS Common Tower system on the new 72 storey Address Hotel, which will be built next to the world's tallest building the Burj Khalifa in Dubai.

Tony Faulkner, CAS Managing Director and David Ellis CAS Technical Director signed the deal with Brookfield's Technical Director Geoff Pontefract. Tony Faulkner stated that the team at CAS are delighted to be supplying another Common Tower system to Brookfield Multiplex, especially on this exciting high rise project in Dubai. There is definitely an improvement in key economies as we have had many enquiries for our system on high rise projects throughout the world.

With the addition of a newly designed integrated staircase for the Common Tower system many developers and construction companies from around the world are seeing the advantage of using the CAS Common Tower Access System to save time and boost efficiency during the construction phase.
